sononimi
ABOUT
Sononimi is a carefully curated sound database that brings together unique sounds from various creative artists. It focuses on special sound techniques and sound articulations, with the aim of blending different musical experiences. The sound material is vast and varied, ranging from improvised music, field recording, modular synthesis, acousmatic music, and everything in between. The idea behind Sononimi is that by sharing our sound techniques, we can gain new perspectives on our musical ideas and explore new sounds in relation to our musical expression. By combining our own playing techniques with other sounds provided by other artists, who might be specialized in instruments and techniques that are not familiar to us, we can recreate and transform the source material to create a totally new sound entity. We are exploring synonyms for our musical expression, and by doing so, we are creating something new, a Sononim. So, feel free to explore and contribute to the Sononimi creative sound database.
